CONTAINER TYPES
We manage prompt shipping services with goods transportation by containers to satisfy all safety requirements for our customers, paying great attention to preserving the value of the items and the handling of the packages in the departure and arrival ports so as to ensure the integrity of the products. Each shipment can also be customised at the request of the customer. Transportation by container facilitates not only the storage of large quantities of goods, but also the shipment of hazardous and flammable goods or products that require the maintenance of a constant temperature. Our collaboration with the major international carriers allows us to offer door-to-door solutions for goods of all types: we provide, in fact, to our customers refrigerated containers of various sizes for frozen foods or spirits which thus arrive at the destination without undergoing any alteration. Depending on the different transportation methods, flat rack containers, which do not have side walls and are instead equipped with two fixed or reclining terminal sides, are also available, together with open top containers, the latter characterised by the absence of a rigid roof so as to allow for loading from above. Once the goods are packed, they are then covered with a protective tarp which we can supply depending on the protrusion of the goods.
CONTAINERS FOR ALL REQUIREMENTS
GOODS BOX TYPES:
- standard containers from 20 feet – 40 feet and 40 feet high cube;
- refrigerated containers of various sizes for temperature-controlled goods;
- flat rack / flat rack collapsible – open top containers – platform containers for out of gauge goods and exceptional loads;
- tanks and flexitanks for liquid materials;
- special containers for hazardous materials: our service dedicated to the transportation of hazardous goods, thanks to our knowledge of local specifications and consolidated experience in handling exceptional loads, allows us to transport any type of load in complete safety and efficiency. We specialise in the shipment of goods belonging to all IMO (Maritime Safety Committee) hazard classes securely and in full respect of the regulations, dealing with identification, packaging, labelling and all documentation;
- transportations in the conventional hold and break–bulk for industrial systems and vehicles. Break–bulk (or project cargo) is a large dimension transportation which does not allow for transportation on flat-racks or on platforms, but is usually loaded on a number of flat-racks on the bridge of a ship and therefore fixed so as to be transported safely.
- goods inspection: thanks to the collaboration with analysis institutions recognised at global level, we offer inspection, analysis, verification and certification services for all types of goods.
